well to fix that when exporting you have to make sure of course that the scaling factor is at 1, and also you have to change Up Axis in Axis conversion to Z-up, I hope that will help you. yeah i found that out a while ago . thanks though I had that same problem too but experimenting can solve this kind of problems

ok so it so happen that i too have naruto texture, and i made it in alpha and saved the dds and everything...now how do i open it in 3ds max?

My model always shows up in game without texture and I dunno what to do. did you add the texture files those are the dyt.emb and .emm files bro! Yes, I added both but still shows up white in game, normally I would figure a way to fix it, but I have been at this for at least an hour. I have a theory... but I dunno; do the alpha files have to be all in the same DDS? (btw I'm using models from the game so I just took the embs from the game)

(btw I'm using models from the game so I just took the embs from the game) I'm very sorry not 100% sure on that go ahead try your theory lol this stuff I've been dealing with for the past 2 week's Confirmed that my theory is wrong, I used a single DDS file on my characters face and it turned out textureless in game, apparently the objects lose their textures once I assign a alpha texture on 3DS Max. Thanks for trying to help anyway Now does anyone have the problem or had and knows how to work it out?

we have to repack the whole .cpk or only the data2.cpk edited with the 2rootfolder is ok like for a basic edit ?

Alright i think its worth asking as ive been trying for two days straight and cant seem to get a good fix on this.
If my models file has the rigging from the esk and i dont change the weights when i bring it into the packer (fbxemd) the packer crashes and doesnt give me anything. If i of course add weights into the model then it seems to work.
This is happening with both the bust and pants. I have been able to put the hair and sword (trunks) into the model but i guess the more complicated rigs crash the packer.
any help or is hair as far as im going to get?
If i add weight to lets say one single part of the bones than it comes out as a T shape on the game.
Basically what im asking is for a way to have the original characters bones weight applied to my model and when i repack it it doesnt crash.
