Mastaklo, is there any application to edit .msg and .bcs files other than by hexadecimal?
Something to make more comfortable modify files.

Something that isn't listed there, but as that same game engine than SF IV (SFxT too) then you can use several of these tools over DBXV. for example for EMM you can use it : EMMEdit v1.2 by sloth85that work pretty pretty well as I see :3

It can open directly EMM to change colours of material it contain, that an easy way to mod things. Example you can add / delete efffect from material if you like/dislike it. in general that used to mod all that is related to EMM (also adding Mesh material for custom mesh work)

Okay so, EMM contain link from Mesh files to material. Example your mesh have a part named as "Bandana" and you want to make it seen with a special shader then you need to setup it in the EMM. In DBXV it seem to control if a material is shining, light emitter, cloths etc That shader side not color but hoe colors react on it. (sorry if I have trouble to be understood I will make picture to show it when i have the computer

Here some picture to show different Shader/mat composition (other parameter in software). Original Pan (Bandana will be modified only) Shader "TOON_UNIF_STAIN2_DFD" MatScale0X 000000000000803F MatScale0Y 000000000000803F MatScale0Z 000000000000803F MatScale0W 000000008FC2F53C MatScale1X 0000000000000000 MatScale1Y 000000000000803F MatScale1Z 000000000000803F MatScale1W 00000000CDCCCC3D Glare 0100010001000000
Here pan with shader "T1_VFX_MTN" TexScrl0U 0000000000000000 TexScrl0V 0000000000000000 TexScrl1U 0000000000000000 TexScrl1V 0000000000000000 VsFlag0 0100000001000000 VsFlag1 0100000000000000 VsFlag2 0100000000000000 VsFlag3 0100000000000000 IncidencePower 000000000000803F IncidenceAlphaBias 000000000000803F GlareColR 000000000000803F GlareColG 000000000000803F GlareColB 000000000000803F GlareColA 000000000000803F AlphaBlend 0100010001000000 AlphaBlendType 0100010000000000 BackFace 0100010001000000 AnimationChannel 0100010003000100
As you can see it conrupt the things (it was to show what you can do / conruption is an "opton" too ) It can be used to set backface to be show, less or more shine on a mat via shader (I don't have full list for this game) In general unknow shader for game result in grey and static mesh part.
