Can somebody tell me the exact size for the new data2.cpk file? Because I've downloaded one that is 182 MB. And I'm not sure if it is the official one, or if already has someone's mods, since previous version (the one with the movie outfits) was around 58 MB. So I wonder why it is almost three times more heavier when the new stuff is located in a different file (datap3.cpk). Thanks in advance if someone tells me. I would like to ask something since I'm feeling a little confused: since we got the data3p file, when modding, do we still need to unpack/repack data2.cpk or from now on we need to focus on datap3.cpk? It depends on what you are modifying and where are located the original files you're replacing with. If it is something new from the new DLC3 (like new characters clothes, new accessories, etc), then yes, they should replace the latest datap3.cpk. But if it is something from the older patches (like older characters, etc) then it should be in data2.cpk, or they could also belong to previous DLCs as well (like Mira/Towa stuff should go in datap2.cpk, etc). its the official one alright. it is huge this time. its why im modding datap3.cpk .I installed used female all colarbale mega pack and my beat mod for gt goku on datap3.cpk and everything worked like a charm .check this out

my guess is you need to repack data2.cpk for those I think so too, but I will check both, better safe than sorry EDIT: the Mad Titan When I try to extract data2.cpk I get a message "CPKPack.exe has stopped working" , it happens only with data2, not with data3p. Any ideas? EDIT2: Nevermind, it crashed because I was attempting to extract a data2.cpk which I had already modified using the old cpk tool, using a clean data2 fixed it

LibXenoverse Modification for DLC Part 3 (FnF/RoF)
Because of the changes datap3 brought and CriPackTools-Master's inability to extract the datap3 files correctly, I have copied and modified the batch files for LibXenoverse and uploaded it to my DropBox. I've repacked everything into a rar archive which you can download here. I also made some extra ones for unpacking datap2 as well and repacking data, datap1, datap2, and datap3 that wasn't included before. Just drop the .cpk file for unpacking or the folder itself for repacking into your LibXenoverse folder and run the corresponding batch script. The Mad Titan shadongo kthxbai HulktySSJ2 ZReincarnation Xan HeirTalent lawlaw Darkussj manwholaughs MrUnusua1As you can see SSGSS Goku has been cel shaded and I'm able to play the game just fine. ^_^ I would like to ask something since I'm feeling a little confused: since we got the data3p file, when modding, do we still need to unpack/repack data2.cpk or from now on we need to focus on datap3.cpk? Like Javituchi said, it depends on what you're modifying and where it was placed originally. It must be in either the same .cpk file it was originally (original cast in data2, GT Goku and Pan in datap1, Nuova Shenron must be modified in datap3) or the one after it (ie Nuova Shenron can modified in datap2 or datap3 and still work, but will not work if modified in datap1 or data2). I personally resort to throwing all of my mods in the latest DLC cpk, or right now datap3.cpk. Very few things must be placed in specific folders like skill names, aura settings, custom_skills, etc. 186,835KB, or as you said 182MB. It is the official one. You have to remember this isn't just the new characters, but they also changed a lot of skills and Z Souls that were originally in the base game as well. Now they could have just modified the data.cpk where the skill/Z Soul originally was, but who wants to make your customers redownload 3GB worth of data? So like what we do for modding, they simply put it one higher, so that it reads after data.cpk and overwrites it with any changes they added in data2.cpk. I'm pretty sure the game reads the .cpk files in order, which explains why many things dont change unless placed into the original file or higher.

In my case, I have a 100MB Internet connection. So I can perfectly download 10GB (maybe a bit more) in 30 mins or so. 3GB would be 10 minutes. So I wouldn't mind. If the game reads from earliest to latest, then I wonder why is not detecting my modified Z-soul name and description issue I'm commenting about HERE. I put them in data2.cpk, which is the latest, since none of the datapX.cpk files have a MSG folder. It works for English but not for Spanish. So I wonder what preferences the game has to read files in different languages.

Not sure why it works for English and not Spanish though. O.o

O.o have you tried making msg folder and see if that works in datap3.cpk? I just tried to add a msg folder, put inside the 4 files (2 English and 2 Spanish). The folder together with the other unpacked datap3.cpk files. I packed with Yusion's LibXenoverse-master, and putting the new datap3.cpk file in game folder... Neither in English nor Spanish languages display my customized Z-soul name and descriptions. If either of you want to test them to see if they work, or not, I can upload them.

Maybe the game checks the names and descriptions differently with the other languages. Otherwise, you could try by changing the name of a DLC Z soul and see if when you repack it into data2 o datap3 the change is applied in game...

Yes I tried using the original files from the huge data.cpk too, but this messes up the new Z-Souls from latest DLC3, since they are not included in the original version. And putting my files in either of data2 or datap3 doesn't work for Spanish version, as I previously said.

And putting my files in either of data2 or datap3 doesn't work for Spanish version, as I previously said. Well, I made some tests and you were actually right, setted the language to spanish, renamed the (already edited) talisman name en to es and the displayed name in game was the original instead of the edited one. I'm guessing that the cause are the offsets, I will try something in a few minuts. EDIT: Well, this is certainly odd, I can't find any offsets in order to swap them with the new name added in the file!
