Forgive me if this is in the wrong section, but considering this isn't actually a request, nor help, I figured it'd be best to go here where the section is literally about the audio side of modding.
At any rate, my question is generally about the Audio modding side of Xenoverse that has yet to be used. Has anyone figured out a way to re-insert audio back into the game without it messing up?
We haven't really seen much in this section after all, and it would be nice if we could get some good audio mods going (BGM or otherwise).

I used PES Media Converter to convert the .wav files to .hca. The problem I'm having is I don't know how to re-compile them back into the archives for the skill voices.
The most I've seen in that thread is for the music, and well, I want to edit the voices haha.

Yeah I tried the PES media converter but there would be nothing in the output folder.

Hm, that's a common problem I've heard about, I'm not sure how to get past it though sadly. Hopefully there'll be another, easier way sometime.

I doing some test yet but I think I've got the clue to avoid the garbled sound. I think it is a matter of wrong bitrate or Hz in the track or possibly a matter of file size. When you convert the wav/mp3 file with PES Media Converter try the following parameters: bitrate: 128 kbps sample: 32000 kHz I haven't recompresssed yet and put the file in the game but I will do soon Note: Use win 7 and try not to make the file bigger than the original I hope this helps

I'm having problems I can't recompress the BIRD_BMG.awb. When I use reimport.bat the file doesnt seem to chage its size. So, I guess it hasnt recompressed. Any ideas?

I think the garbled sound comes from too high bitrate so let's make it lower and test

The moment you guys work this out I'm adding in all my voice rips to my modded chars. Anyone know how to make custom skill sounds? I need my Roshi to yell LIGHTNING SURPRISE!"

The main problem is that you can extract and modify the music BUT quickbms CANNOT rebuild BIRDS_BGM.awb again. That is just the last step missing
