A new update. So at first I thought that the gems in to torso (Image Below) were caused by a change in the reflectiveness of the model. However after messing with the emm file to change the reflections, I realize that has nothing to do with it. It seems that the gem is referencing the wrong texture file. in the emb there is a DATA000 and DATA001. DATA 000 is responsible for the lines on the chest, the back, the arms, etc. While DATA001 is responsible for that swirly image you can see in the gem on the head. If you look at the center gem you can see the lines are the same as the one on the clothes. Now, if I rename DATA001 to DATA000 the gems are colored perfectly, but the rest of the model is not (Image Below). A second interesting not is that if I change the name of "DATA000" to "DATA002", and change "DATA001" to "DATA003" it will still give me the same problem as the image above. This tells me that it's loading DATA000 or DATA001 (as opposed to DATA000 and DATA001). If anybody can help with changing how these files are referenced by the model it would be very helpful. (This is a model that's already in th original game, I didn't bring in any elements from outside the main game. This started out as a fix for a smal seam in the model lol)

I didn't think I would need to re rig it considering i'm just messing with a couple of vertex edits of an existing in game model. I import the esk with the model and it shows me it's already. I'll rewatch the tutorials. Thanks for the response

I though maybe it had something to do with the emm, but I have no idea what anything means in there lol. I've seen a couple of mods with this problem but no clear solution for me

AH, ok I'll do that when I get a chance. I figured that what the emm was, and I fugured maybe I messed up their offset positioning. thanks for your suggestion

Ok, I managed to fix the issue with the lines, but the gems on the chest and arms are still giving me issues. the .dyt and .emb don't seem to effect it. it almost looks like it's the luma, but I don't know what controls that. Any help would be awesome! PS. thanks for the help and patients so far. never touched this program before, learning a lot

Then again, I'm just kind of dong things very randomly because I have no idea how to read the info lol. It's definitely still reading the color from the dyt, because when I change it, it effects the color but not the glare. I know the emm has a "glare" setting on it, but it doesn't effect the gems.
