Am i supposed to drag the data.cpk back into the directory or just delete it while it's in the unpack? At last!!! This is the correct way to do it! The problem we had was to do not rename the first data folder. By unpacking the data2 we were overwritting the first data folder, and packing only the data2 one. Thanks for making clear this point! Now works all perfect Wait seriously? Do you have the steam version? Everytime i tried to mod the game wouldnt load is that why? Im kind of afraid to try and mod again because every time i try the game doesnt load.

So, I will explain the problem now...I take my data.cpk and drag him (not copy) in the CrypakTools, it take a time and after the completion it result in ONE file that is name data so...i follow the tutorial and put it in my desktop after rename him "databackup" and let him alone.....and I erase the data.cpk from Crypak....so now I'm taking my second file that is name "data2.cpk" and I do the same thing and it result in two folder (after taking 1sec of decompress) named "data" and "data2". Data contain 3 folders "Quest" "Skill" "Stage" one text file name "patch_ver" and another one named "signature" Data2 contain just one file name "config.dat" that's all. Soooo...i follow the tutorial and make a folder named "data2root" in the root of my DBZ XV game and drag "data" and "data2" to it. Now I wanna change Aura's colors sooooo i don't have it in my "data2root" so i take the aura file from my "databackup" folder and make my little change and then the problems begins....what i'm supposed to do??? Soooo I take some initiatives and make a "system" folder in the "data" folder and put my aura's file into it....like it was say in the tuto...but my game do not work and keep charging... I don't know what to do know soooo please somebody can help me? THHHXXX :/

Post by HulktySSJ2 on a few seconds ago Well, I repacked using 1024, and it looked like it worked. The mods were back and the DLC Packs were all there........ BUT a new problem has arrived (FIGURES!!!)
Now: At the character selection screen, the character models are invisible (not a big deal if I can still play, BUT)... When the loading screen (when it shows the 2 characters) pops up, the loading goes on NON-STOP!! (also, the models are still invisible even in the boxes...)
So... what the heck do I do now?...

When i unpack data2.cpk it just has a file named config.dat in it. data.cpk seems to unpack just fine. After repacking the changed file, the game just loads a black screen if I change anything in data.cpk, and if I copy the appropriate path (ex: chara\humf\insertfilehere.ext ) for the changed file into data2.cpk and use the original data.cpk I get to the "Loading..." screen that never goes away. Happens with even just one file, regardless of which file it is. What am I doing wrong here?
Edit: Sorted it out, problem was I was extracting data and data2 to the same folder.

At last!!! This is the correct way to do it! The problem we had was to do not rename the first data folder. Do you have the steam version? Everytime i tried to mod the game wouldnt load is that why? Im kind of afraid to try and mod again because every time i try the game doesnt load. Sorry, i´ve been dad lastly and I was bussy Ok, I have the steam version, yes. And, yes, it was so easy. For all of you: When you unpack "data.cpk", there is one folder created, AFTER YOU RENAME IT, when you unpack "data2.cpk" there are TWO folders created, a "data" and a "data2". If you don´t rename the first data folder you had, when you unpack the data2.cpk the two "data" folders will merge and it will be ruined; you´ll have to start again. Aaaaand I have the missing character issue too. there are some of them that are invisible, even they´re there, and even they´re kicking your butt invisibly xD But maybe is the kind of changes I made... not sure. And yes too, the data2 folder created only has a file in it, but is the data folder unpacked from "data2.cpk" file where you have to make changes or add character folders if they´re not in there. You have the configuration of the folder as example in the first data folder (the renamed one), if you need to replace or add files. Create the same folders to, for example, modify something in Goku and pack it again (for example again: Data/Chara/Gok). Maybe the exact folders aren´t in there YET, but if you create them, the game will know where to put them after. In truth, you only need to unpack the first data file once to access the files you want to modify, because the true data you´ll modify or add will be always the created from Data2.cpk file unpacked, the second data folder. I know it is a little weird just explained that way. Just try to rename the first data folder, and you´ll see a second data folder created from data2.cpk. By packing again that data folder, it will be added to the original one in the game folder and it will add the changes to your game too. Hope you´ll make it

Hey Guys, so i've been modding and repacking for a while now, and everything was going great for the past few days. But now all of a sudden after I repack, when I start the game, the game just instantly crashes and gives me a "wrong key error". This has never happened before and it's like there was an update to the data2.cpk file from steam that prevents me from changing anything inside. Never mind guys i fixed it how did you fix it ?

Ok last time it fixed itself after a while but i just don't know what to do because i have like 10 mods i want to install and i can't xD It looks like my repacker is not working properly.I Unpacked my data2.cpk,looked at the files(everything was ok) and then i repacked it with the right settings like always.but the game doesn't accept the file.it just stops working before the loading thing.i even tried to download another version of the repacker, still not working...
