Hello. I recently finished the game and still have plenty of parallel quests left but recently came across a video that had something that was impossible to have otherwise wich led me to this forum. Now, when it came to mods, it usually was just drag drop overwrite but packing and repacking files is entirely new to me so I'll just ask what I really want to know instead of the whole "tell me everything" While I've truly tried to read through guides, I'm usually left with questions not answered in 1. Super Kamehameha x100 Mod dbxvmods.freeforums.net/thread/67/barrikade-mod-new-release-moreI wished it was a standard where a step by step guide had to be made with each person uploading their mods but hey, that's where the help forum is for. To my furthest understanding of adding this mod, I only knew I had to extract the Data2.cpk and drop it in a folder with similar files like "000_GOK_CMK" The point where I got lost is when the files in the SKX100 were not the same as this folder, I felt I was doing something wrong. 2. Repacking CPK's I was beating myself up on this one since I've worked CMD and yet it didn't seem to work. What I understood was for me to enter "CPK -r" to start. Second to enter the folder I wanted to repack so for me it was D:\<My Name>\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Dragonball Xenoverse\data2 Third was to enter the output wich for some reason could never be opened to wich I entered D:\<My Name>\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Dragonball Xenoverse\data2.cpk When that didn't work, I figured maybe it wouldn't respond if I used a filename that already existed so I ended doing D:\<My Name>\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Dragonball Xenoverse\data3.cpk so a new one was made and so I could overwrite the old one. Didn't work either. Finally, I just entered "data2.cpk" or again "data3.cpk" and it still could not open the output and it repeated the instruction. I wanted to repack to at least try out the aura colour changing since that's bothered me the most and I followed this guide dbxvmods.freeforums.net/thread/128/change-aura-style wich I think I was able to go through just fine. 3. (Optional) Request a modded data.cpk to be uploaded to my preference instead. While I am truly eager to learn how to do this properly without being too bothersome to keep asking for help. I don't request many changes that I want my male custom character to have. If this feels super easy to you and wish to end it all swiftly to apply these mods for me instead and upload that data2.cpk for me to download. I mainly just want Broly's hairstyle, my transformation hair to be red, my aura to be red whenever I fly or charge and to always spark permanently wether I am a super saiyan or not and finally my favorite ultimate attack perfect kamehameha to be red. Like I said, I'm willing to learn how to do this since most topics that release these mods are there for people who already know how to do this so I feel somewhat left out and feel stupid to ask them how to do it exactly but this to me would be the fastest solution. Thank you for taking the time to read through all of this and I'm awaiting your responses.

Thank you for taking the time to read through all of this and I'm awaiting your responses. It's truly hard to see what problem you're facing. Let's start with the first issue you're having and I actually downloaded the kamehameha mod myself to see if something would have been off with the files themselves. Well, there's nothing wrong with the files, I can confirm that already. The Zip-file contains 7 files but indeed, there's no indication as to where they should be put, but one question... have you only extracted the data2.cpk? If you have also extracted the original Data.cpk you should be able to find the required folders, but nonetheless make sure you drop these files in the following directory, if you don't have these folders, you should create them. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DB Xenoverse\data2root\data\skill\ULT\000_GOK_CKM or however you've called the folder where you've unpacked your data2.cpk, as you can see, mine is called data2root as it is for most people I am aware that DBXV might be located in a different directory in your case but I think you get the idea. Problem 2: Repacking problems? You need to use the CPK-tools, now do what I do... I hope the picture above is visible enough, if not then check the following
---Build CPK---- Data Path : Here you should select the directory to your data2root folder Data Align : 512 (In case you've missed it, I don't know why it's necessary but I've read it needs to be like that and I've never questioned it) Save Path : Your data2.cpk file Click Build If you've done it exactly the way I just told you then I'm sorry if it still isn't working, I don't know what the problem could be. 3. If it's still not working for you, I'm willing to make a data2.cpk with the requested files for you but in my experience, using a data2.cpk from another person's game won't work, I'd assume the signature file has something to do with this but I'm not sure. However if you truly need to revert to the last step, I would need the following - Your data2.cpk file - Links to the mods you want your data2.cpk to have. Hope this helped you and sorry if it didn't.

Also I don't think I have that repack tool at all. I have an exe that uses batch files. I downloaded libxenoverse so I don't think I have that specific tool. I thought I was restricted to the tools in that pack.

Maybe I'm missing a search term. dbxvmods.freeforums.net/thread/3/cpk-unpack-repack This link has been taken straight from the tutorial section, it isn't that hard to find, you just need to take a look at the tutorial section, just like The Mad Titan said. Download the CripackTools (for extracting your cpk-files) and download the Repacker, which is the one I showed you in the picture and Mastaklo left an example as well in that specific tutorial section. Are you positive you had taken a look at every tutorial?

i meant my video tutorial actually . i made it after when people were having issues like this . what helped me get started was nassifs tutorial. and i added some more stuff in to my video tutorial Thanks! I was able to make the Kamehameha mod work nicely. I just can't get the aura colour changing thing to work. I've followed what it said but I feel that I'm still missing something. I've actually checked out the post you left at tomas18's tutorial, I think I know where the problem might be. I took a quick look at your screenshot you took from your aur_setting.aur- file and I assume you tried to make the red aura flare, however as Tomas18 said in his tutorial and I literally copied and pasted this sentence right here "EE is the infinite flag. Setting this to 01 will make the game keep the aura flaring. However, some aura types aren't compatible with this. Those that aren't will default back to blue. (Thanks to Reylund for this)" To my knowledge there's no red aura in the game that keeps flaring thus the result with you trying to make it flare ended up reverting the aura back to blue If you really want a red aura that keeps flaring you'd either have to use the Super Saiyan God aura or the Super Saiyan 4 aura and I know these technically aren't red, well SSG- aura sort of is but SS4 is only red when flying but those are basically the only (sort of) red aura's that will keep flaring. The red aura you're using now just reverts back to default when you use the 01 to make it flare.

I've never tested those out myself so I didn't know how much they would've affected it.
