How to unpack the .cpk files to edit the game
What you need:
CriPakTools-master
1. Drag n Drop your data.cpk file in the CriPakTools-master folder
2. Double click on 1-EXTRACT_ALL(no_decompression).bat
3. You get a folder named Data. (Rename it to DataBackup and save it on a place you remember. This folder contains the files we want to edit later)
4. Delete the data.cpk in the CriPakTools-master folder
5. Drag n Drop you data2.cpk in the CriPakTools-master folder
6. Double click on 1-EXTRACT_ALL(no_decompression).bat
7. You get 2 folders Data and Data2
8. Create a folder named Data2root on your root folder of DB XV and put the data2 and data folder into it

How to Repack the .cpk to apply your mods
What you need:
Repacker CPK
1. Put the edited files in the data2root folder we created erlier
for example you edited goku files put it in
data2root/data/chara/gok
2. In the cpk repack folder double click on CPKTools.exe
3. Use the following settings
then click on Build
4. When the process it completed you should see this message
click ok
5. Now you repacked your files and you are ready to test them in game

men the repack process take to much time for me, is one hour to repack i think to change only one thing is to much damn time  |

Wolfxpack: Are you by any chance repacking the whole data.cpk? If yes, try repacking only the changed file into data2.cpk, as it is much smaller and repacks in seconds...

for me too the repack proces take 2-3 hours omg thats so mucho for only change one character!!!

Like it says in the Tut, put only your modified files into your data2root folder. If you have not edited all of your files repacking that should only take a few secs...

well i triying do the tutorial only repacking the only one character mod and wroks fine , BUT NOW when i try to do again with another character mod or the same was working, nothing happen. always i do a backup of the data.cpk but nothing happen when i try to repack again. i unistall the game and install again and the same shit.!! SOME ONE HELP ME
THE SCREEN ALWAYS LOADING AND NOTHIN HAPPEN TILL APPLY THE DATA2.CPK ORIGINAL BACKUP

Just going on a limb here, but I had a similar problem when I forgot to include the stuff that was originally in the data2.cpk. Try unpacking the data2.cpk and copying that into the folder you use for repacking it.
Other than that, no idea...

Hey Guys, so i've been modding and repacking for a while now, and everything was going great for the past few days. But now all of a sudden after I repack, when I start the game, the game just instantly crashes and gives me a "wrong key error". This has never happened before and it's like there was an update to the data2.cpk file from steam that prevents me from changing anything inside.

Either swap the meshes (try the *_000.*) of your chosen race (HUM/HUF for male/female human and saiyan, NAM for namekian, FRI for frieza race, MAM/MAF for majin male/female) with the file of your choice, or take a look at this. |
