What resources do I need and what are the most useful pages here on the forums? I've watched some blender for beginner videos and I'm scanning through different threads but what do the people who are experienced and good modders think are the best help threads and references?
In modding I want to do color edits, remodeling existing models, modeling from scratch and renaming.
Whats most important to me right now is how to recolor, and edit existing models. I'm going to be using blender also. By the way the only language I speak fluently is English. So if theres any one who is also a fluent English speaker that can talk with me that would be great too.

You really ought to be more specific. Otherwise you could end up with people posting up 70+ step tutorials for things you have no interest in. Start with a goal. What's a simple thing you'd like to try? When you reach a road-block try and figure it out for yourself, and if you're totally stumped just ask. Or go search through the forums for tutorials on stuff you're interested in. |
