Hi there, for some reason the emd.fbx file just doesn't happen to be created i select both esk and the emd and drag them to the emdfbx.exe, black window pop up and close immediately but the file isn't created. I am using Windows 10, so if anyone manage to get this working on win 10 i would like to know or is it a OS problem
thanks in advance :]

its not... the file should be located where you put your esk and emd files

I've always had this problem and I'm on W7. What I did was to open an cmd window, and launch my emdfbx.exe file from it. It only work that way for me, I never knew why :
1. type cmd on your windows start menu 2. in the new window, type "cd (your folder where emdfbx is)" 3. then type "emdfbx.exe ****.esk ****.emd"

But thanks to The Mad Titan , there is a better fix ! you have to right click on your emdfbx.exe, go in properties and tick "run in compatibily mode : windows XP pack 3" now it should work by dragging your files in it !
