The guy who made this could have at least ask for permission and credited every one who made the mods.

Yeah he should of said where the mods came from or who made them, or both. But is it really THAT big of a deal that someone liked enough choice mods to release a pack of the ones they use? I didn't see them taking credit for the mod and if all he's done is throw all your downloads in a big folder, most of the mods I've used seem to have a README file saying who made the mod. And even if they don't, weren't the mods made to be used? Anyone who watches that and is into modding their DBX game will look up other mods and that will inevitably lead them here, where they would see the originals anyway.
If they claimed to of made the mods, yeah get mad. I didn't watch all of the vid so idk if they take credit for them at the end and the description seemed to just like a file share thing.
Oh well just my thoughts I've never really had anything taken and used elsewhere though.

I think their feelings towards it is fair. Taking someone else's work and portraying it as your own is known worldwide as wrong. |

Oh well just my thoughts I've never really had anything taken and used elsewhere though. do you enjoy mods? why do you even get mods? who makes those? ever think how much time modders spent on those? you think its fair to just put them in a pack and not credit them ? what will happen if modders stop modding then? this is not new. it has happened in the past so yeah. its one of the biggest deals. dont like it, you can leave because that rule isnt gonna change. |

Maybe he did not understand the rules of modding community, should he be bad guy for ignorance? we have every right to be hostile. you would never understand how much effort modders put on these. he did not understand the rules of the community, i think not. its because he didnt care about them. its announced in the hi-lights. everyone can see it. if he can spent time on making a video and downloading the mods and installing them, obviously he can ask modders for permission and credit them . he did neither, so the result is very much expected. |
