Flash is being used to display data, like XML usually does. What this probably means is that the anchoring for JCO is different in Data.cpk than Data2.cpk.Looked at it wrong (Tired). When comparing data.cpk's charasele.iggy to data2.cpk's it does show the insert of GGK, GVG, and GFR. Now mugenattack you appear to know AS3 better than I. You should take a look. Nice find @superhuman

well, i got same as above That's because Data2 overwrites Data. The only thing that changes in Data2 for the character selection is the addition of GGK, GVG, and GFR.

Just thought of something.
There must be a character list somewhere. As the CHARASELE.iggy mentions character lists. If a custom character isn't on that list it may not be treated as a playable character. Which would be why even after telling the game to unlock it, it's still locked.

You know why this is? its because Jaco had his files in the game from the base game. but its a great find

There are character references in data2\data\vfx\vfx_spec.ers near the bottom. Which is right outside of the cmn folder that holds a bunch of info about auras.

I go, I have one months eating up the head with the same subject, to discover that everything is related to .iggy files. Because it is assumed that these files are a graphical interface files that work with Flash. Unfortunately even in radgametools page tells you the following: Compatible with SWF (Flash) files created by Adobe Flash-compatible software - You can use any Flash-supported authoring tool handler (such as any version of Adobe Flash CS, or Adobe Flex or Flex Builder or Flash Builder) to create content for Iggy. Consegui not modify it with any editor Flash. And today I'm going and I find this forum .. lol Y_Y Someone can make a summary of how you can edit the files by Hex iggy? I see a lot of information and evidence you have done haha .. I to this day every time he touched the file I crash the game.

See something that looks interesting then change it's value to see what happens.

If you look at one of my previous posts that starts with "I found something" that shows how the game unlocks characters via missions. Even if you add custom characters to that list they are still locked. There is something that custom characters don't have which is keeping them from being unlocked.
