So everyone agrees that Dimps has moved on and is now creating Xenoverse 2 but where are the sources on this? I still hope that there may be a DLC4 since this game has a lot of potential still.

I still hope that there may be a DLC4 since this game has a lot of potential still. i believe rhymestyle said it was about to start developement, and to be honest xenoverse 2 has much more potential considering current gen only and the ability to improve upon what xenoverse didn't do so well. |

I believe that dlc4 would be fnf part 2, no new characters, no new items, no new nothing, only story mode.
They didn't release story mode in dlc3 because we would get spoilers from fnf.

They had cliffhanger with TokiToki flying into the dark energy cloud at the end of GT DLC2 story, pretty sure there will be at least one more story DLC.

That would be rad. I agree with GT, I hate that Xenoverse contains GT characters and story.. But for movies like Broly,Janemba.Cooler, SSJ1 Gogeta is really awesome and must be in every DBZ games In my opinion a dragon ball game needs all the main characters from #1-519, if you feel its a bit harsh pitting Devil against Dabura, just remember that you can already pit Yamcha against the god of frickin' destruction. Because of the success of Dragon Ball Z, which started at the Vegeta saga for some stupid reason, most people consider #1-194 a prequel, and because its not "Z" content game developers don't bother adding it in. I get that the story matured and moved on from its comedic roots, but it had some very important stories that shaped Goku into becoming the hero he is today like Tao+Bora, Goku being reunited with Gohan, his fights with Tien and King Piccolo (some of the greatest fights of the entire publication) and, more importantly Krillin's death. As for GT and movie characters. Okay I hate that games add these as story content. Xenoverse uses a model that allows the player to travel between universes and timelines where these are possible, and I get that. I wish they would just make one amazing game where the spin-offs are just bonus content or alternate costumes. I don't bother with GT content, and I feel that the characters were very badly made in the game just to keep the GT fandom happy (try playing as the Shenrons I dare you). Which is why I'm glad that DLC was released, so I can use up the GT slots for my modpack! Hopefully there will be more. Gogeta is barely non-canon. That said, so is Gokule. |
