All day I've been trying to get mods onto Xenoverse but the .cpks that I been trying to extract keeps crashing. Either it's thee extraction program or the cpks themselves idk what to do now. Because I was REALLY looking forward to playing DBXV with Mods. Because I do believe datap3.cpk is the right file I need to extract to put the mods into or something? I need help  |

I need help you can extract datap3.cpk by using the updated libxnoverse tools given in my tutorial. but it wont wont if you have a currupted file, or the wrong cracked file. for steam it should work without any trouble ,if you do verifying cache will fix the issue .but for now usee the updated tools instead of cripack tools to extract |

Datap3.cpk is currently giving a lot of problems as far as extracting and such goes. Although there are some updated guides on extracting that pack, they seem to be a little hit or miss, and are still giving some users problems. I don't think anyone is quite sure why yet.
What I would suggest is leaving datap3.cpk alone for right now. Verify your game's files through Steam so that you can reset everything, then put all of your mods into data2.cpk. That should be able to extract and compile just fine, and you should still be able to use most of the mods inside of it, as long as they don't have anything to do with the recently released content.

Weeeeell in that case you'll have to have fresh copies of each CPK on hand, so hopefully you backed them up or have access to a fresh install.
Public Service Announcement: support developers, buy your games folks.
After that, just try unpacking and repacking data2.cpk instead of the files that house the new content. You should be okay.

It's also not working for several other people; there's a moment near the end of Yusion's thread where someone has trouble making it work on their laptop, only for it to work alright on their desktop, so it might be a problem with individual machines. Either way, though, it's not perfect at this time. |

So I would need fresh datap and data cpks on hand? So should I be having the files on Update 6? Yes, you should have fresh, unedited .cpk files on hand for the most recent update. This is so that you can have new files to un-break the game if anything goes wrong. Be sure to copy and paste them in a separate folder or somewhere safe so that you can always have them in case of a file error. |

Just because I can't get it to work doesn't mean it doesn't work, yes, but the fact that someone can't get it to work does mean it's not perfect / not universal. try this . delete your data2.cpk ,datap1,2,3 cpks and verify cache and try again for some reason just verifying cache didnt work for me onetime and this fixed it |
