Ok i'm having issues after i mod the game it stays on second loading screen before the menu any help (BTW I'm using Codex Version of the game)

that might be because of the game trying to load file or files that doesn't exist try to delete the recent files that you added to the current data2.cpk you are using this way you will be able to detect which files are causing this so you can either fix it or delete it if it can't be.

well i did it on data.cpk not data2.cpk

you see this is a problem because installing Mods into data.cpk isn't advised since it takes a long time to repack and it might cause some problems like crashes or infinite loading screen , you should always install them in data2.cpk this file override the files in the data.cpk since it is used for patches and updates so theses updates are loaded from data2.cpk the same goes for Mods I hope this will help  |

no that doesn't mean that you are a noob it is just you missed the file that where you need to install the Mods to, btw I recommend you backup your save file then uninstall the game and after that delete all remaining file especially data.cpk if it remains any after uninstallation then re-install the game as you did it first time and then re apply the Mods in data2.cpk this time and always make sure you backup the last working data2.cpk

ummmh
i want to ask, i know im new here, and i dont know if im in the right thread to ask...
okay so heres my problem
i also experience the "infinite loading" screen after i installed a mod on "data2.cpk"
its been a week since i started modding DBX and it was all FINE! been a good week for me too, i had so much FUN ^^
but this morning...
i cant figure out what went wrong, i installed a hair mod for female characters
but after that...
infinite loading screen came up
i tried to copied my cousins ORIGINAL(or clean, no mods installed) data2.cpk
it went GOOD again (no mods)
but whenever i tried to installed mods again "infinite loading" was still there...
its still working now with my old "data2.cpk" with all the mods i installed (except the females hair that i wanted so bad)
but yeah... cant install mods now...
so i guess i need to uninstall and then install the game and do the whole thing again...
just wondering what went WRONG???
did i miss a file or sumthing???
(edit) okay seems that, i miss a file.. so everythings works fine now
copied data2.cpk from my other friend, and it worked! all i have to do now is to reinstall all of the awesome mods
nice nice
lesson learned: never ever install mods without making a BACKUP!
