I think you are facing the same issue I did, try this way: In short, instead of selecting only the hair to make invisible, make ALL THE SQUARE (aside the base hair colour) and fill it with the blucket, select even the black part which separate the 2 tiers of hairs. EDIT: Hugh, if it is as Kainzorus Prime said then scratch my post

Oh, you want the SSJ3 part to be -visible- all the time. I've misread your post the first time, apologies about that. Essentially, you just skip adding the alpha channel to the file from the .emb, don't switch MatScale1X to 1, and don't add the AlphaBlend and NoEdge lines to the .emm. Also, if you find that the hair is generally working but the black highlight textures are not showing up, change the DFDAth to simply DFD in the material shader line in the .emm, that seems to clear it up. I'm not using SSJ3 hair, but using the Teen Gohan SSJ2 Hair, the picture show its still visible with HUM_010 hair and i want it invisible, only show it in ssj form Like this way (to show the base form I uninstall the mod I try to do from this tutorial) I know the difference of the hairs are small but for me it's enough

That is odd, it should work fine if you did exactly as I told gurlok before.
Since I'm curious, could you pack up all the files (emd/emb/dyt.emb/emm) into a zip and throw me a link? I'll check this thing myself to see the problem.

Majin Petrosk, try this file and let me know (attachment). Simply extract it, put it in your emb.dyt folder and do the repack process, and let me know. Attachments:DATA000.rar (732 B)

Sadly as evanrezane said, this is what we can do at best, as for now at least.

Or, apply it to the top colors so that your base form hair dissapears when SSJ is added.

Glad to find Majin Petrosk solved his problem .. gurlok you are really helpful Nah, I just had the same issue as him, I figured it out after more than 20 failed tests, then I downloaded the sample kthxbai posted (and used for the tutorial) and saw that difference. But Kainzorus Prime really helped me figuring out that there are some hairs which are bugged when you try to swap them with the ones you make (like 002 for example, I was facing a nasty issue some posts ago). Glad though that evanrezane helped you with your last issue
