This is my first post. I have read and made use of the information and wisdom posted on this forum before, and must say thank you to all the kickass programmers and hexers for the work you do! This stuff takes true effort and has helped me appreciate games even more...
I decided to post a thread to enlist your assistance.
Thanks to Xiam, I downloaded his 100% starter save to use with my ofw ps3. I resigned and the like; worked perfectly. I began to realize that this save may be perfect to hex edit! So I open the save up (my ofw won't allow a use copy--I tried reformatting an external hard drive and when plugged in my ps3 crashed...rebooted but I don't wanna risk bricking the thing) on a hex editor...and I'm lost.
The original 100% save has all blank CAC spots...so I'm not sure WHERE to start. I want to hex a CAC into the first CAC slot, and use the proceeding lines to edit hair, aura, etc. Can anyone help? I've done the data.cpk thing just to practice finding the lines to edit but I'm having trouble finding where CAC starts.
Can I search the default name PATROLLER and find it that way? Is there a hex Id for (Blank) slot?
