This is more of a rant than a suggestion, one may think
but its only because im frustrated. I am spending hours doing what was mentioned in the tutorials without any results. Im trying to do a simple texture edit now, but i cant even do that. what we need is more video tutorials. this is a community which was built to help each other. some people have more background in modding whereas some people are amateurs at it. but if we want peopleto make better mods than the experienced few we need better tutorials out there.
if you are reading this and you know you know something, please do a video tutorial.we dont mind your language issues ,just need a video to reference to.its easier to follow up with a video.so please I beg you to make more tutorials. or most of us will just waste time trying to figure out what to do and fail, then fed up eventually and give up modding itself. think about that a bit. please share your knowledge,even if that's a bit it could help a lot.More than sharing your own awesome mods, this will help a lot of people and we would end up with a better game in the long run with a lot of us making mods
help section is full of questions with little number of answers. request section is full of requests because people dont know how to make things. I know that there are things even none of us found out yet. but please share your knowledge with us so we could start making better mods too.
And i take this chance to thank you wonderful people for sharing your knowledge with tutorials . You guys helped a lot of people, especially amateur modders

Hi The Mad Titan  I don't think I am experienced enough since I started Modding not long ago but I might help as well as for video tutorial at the moment I am not sure I can make one I only have a 2GB free on my HDD so maybe after I free some space on my computer and finishing fixing my Mods. and by the way are you trying to change the alpha textures if so I found a tutorial about it the problem is the one who made it is explaining in french here it is and I hope it will help |

for the dyt.emb files have lines of colors that are applied to the materials of a model and which line should be assigned to which material that is done through the emm file and especially on this line : <EMMParameter name="MatScale1X" type="0" value="1" /> where it says value="1" the number 1 is referring to the 2nd line of color in the .emb file why 2nd because 0 is the 1st one. I hope this helps |

not really you can just use one of them either change on Photoshop the line of color you want to change.
or you can do that through emm file by changing the number where it says value="x".
the emm file needs to be touched is when the model you have or you've imported has material names different than the original one that you want to swap it with.
