I had this for goten. There are files missing from data2.cpk. Like goten's whole character folder was gone which is why i got that error and i had to add it back to the game.

Ok, I might have figured it out. See, it might be because 1 character has a skill that shoulnd't have, mostly because the slot moddel isn't avaible for it.
Here is an example: SSJGOD transformable Vegeta, it works fine on the last or above Cell saga Vegeta. Buuut, if you set the skill "SSJ3" aka SSJGODSSJ on the mod, the game knows the character should not have that, because the skill it has replaces Evil ssj transformation. So, just try using your mods without any custom skill list.
I might be wrong, but that used to happen to me.

Have you tried using a clean save file(ofc with a backup savefile), and just playing up to the point to get offline battles on without using the "mods" that are aparently are causing it? No, but I doubt that'd make a difference. And I don't want to get through all those PQ to get SSj4 Goku again... Assuming you have the steam version I have one solution that should work because it helped me. Delete your DBXV.exe and Data Data2 Datap and Datap2. Go on steam and click the play button. Steam data should give you a new DBXV data data2 datap and datap2 and it should work now. |

this is something i just discovered. i faced the infinite loading screen error just a few mins ago after i replaced my RAD folder with a different one.after the patch they made different folders in chara. and they each have unique files so make sure when you add files for a mod you dont replace the whole folder, make sure you have the unique file which was there originally. in my case it was .bac file .
