I FINALLY got the DLC packs to work, but now my Mods are messed up to... I made unpacked folders of: The New data2.cpk datap1.cpk datap2.cpk
Then I copy and pasted all my mods to the CHAR folder in the datap2 one like you guys are saying. Now I'm gonna try repacking THAT folder and see what happens...' If nothing, then I'll try the datap1 folder, then the regular data2. ...What's strange is that after unpacking the new Data2.cpk, I only got ONE folder instead of TWO...
Any advice???

Gonna try the 1024 thing as well. If none of this works, I won't know what to do...

All i did was right click the new data2.cpk and datap2.cpk and click properties and turned off "read only" if it was checked and i could extract/unpack with no issues.

Well, I repacked using 1024, and it looked like it worked. The mods were back and the DLC Packs were all there........ BUT a new problem has arrived (FIGURES!!!)
Now: At the character selection screen, the character models are invisible (not a big deal if I can still play, BUT)... When the loading screen (when it shows the 2 characters) pops up, the loading goes on NON-STOP!! (also, the models are still invisible even in the boxes...)
So... what the heck do I do now?...

To share my experience with this issue, I was lucky my steam was off and offline when the update was announced as available so I could prepare ahead by simply replacing my modded data2 cpk with the default copy I had as backup. I let everything update, then deleted my old data2 folder and extracted a new one from the updated data2 cpk. I added my mods there. They are just a few, visual mods though. Nothing game changing, but, I never ran into any problems.
So if anyone is still having this problem, a good start would be to either reinstall or find a clean backup of the post dlc2 data2 cpk and go from there. I'm not sure if the problem persists for mods that change characters or moves, but at least for visual mods like model swaps I've had no problems so far.
Also, mods for characters like Pan go into datap1. Loading a Pan mod into data2 won't reflect it in game. This may be the case with other future dlc characters.

I did the changing to 1024 and it just stays on loading forever with the animation loading thing... I'm gonna try using the data2p.cpk next hopefully it works.

I made a video to see if I could be more clear... Give me 5 minutes to get it processed. HERE: hey open the modded folder then copy all the modded files(not folders.open the folders and only get the modded files) then put them in data2root /chara /xxx charactor folder.dont make xxx-mod folders just put them inaside the already exsisting one. and files which came originally in dlc1 goes repacked in to dlc cpk. same with dlc 2. only exception is files that come with data.cpk those and the pacthed files go in data2root. hope this helps.
