You see that's where your wrong, it's not preorder content/bonus, it's not locked content on a disc that he made accessible. I'm not disregarding his hard work but if you can't see where this can be considered kind of shady then your blind. he could use the money . I understand that. but you dont understand that. did you even try modding yourself? do you even have any clue how much time it takes to completely make a charactor. learn that and we ll have a talk. peace out yes I do mod, budokai 3 and budokai tenkaichi 3, I know how hard it's to mod models, recolor textures and do simple model swaps. matter of fact just so you don't think I am lying look at this video. see the user name same as it is on here.

So there is another reason he shouldn't do that.

Sorry to say, but I'm another who's somewhat against this. I'm sorry to hear about the financial issues you're having but charging people for your mods isn't the right way to go about it. In fact, it's actually illegal. You're taking models from other games and putting them in this one and charging people for it.
So if you get caught doing this, it can have some serious legal repercussions.

hey guys i started a patreon page which you can find here www.patreon.com/mastaklomodsif you dont know what patreon is pls watch this video also heres a quick explanation: the payment goes per month you can pay any amount you want to if you pay a minimum amount you earn rewards and for example get mods before official release so the more you pay the more you benefit from it all paymant from all patrons together are used to reache the milestones so for example if 2 people would pay 10$ per month it would make 20$ and ill release a texture mod every month you can see it as kind of a DLC or a Season pass every amount helps but dont donate if you dont have the money for it you may ask why am i now starting with patreon? the answer is simple currently im unemployed because the company in which i worked went bankrupt that means that i dont get money untill i find a new job and since i must concentrate on finding a new job i dont have much time for mods left but with patreon you can support me and i dont lose the motivation on making mods since i do the mods in my freetime it would be nice to get some money for the hours of work i put in them i will not force anyone to pledge on patreon and dont do it when you dont have the money for it thanks for your time and i hope to release many mods in the future buddy it says you MUST put in at least $20 a month even when in your example you said it's possible to donate even $10 monthly

Clearly it's just illegal, as other said. This is wrong, and you should be careful because people could report you to Bandai or any shitty company. And your financial problem would be much bigger than it is now. And do you really think that people are going to keep for themselves some of your piece of work with such a money process ? People who actually have some of your mods will just share them to the rest of the community (just take a look on youtube how many people got golden frieza, or gohan ssj4).
But, as someone said, thanks for sharing your knowledge !

i don't know if it's legal or not and to be honest i don't care but Mastaklo is a pro modder so it's your choice if you donate or not but if you don't have money or don't want to then atleast support him with words cuz he really deserves it.

heres a quick calculation so you may understand better were almoste 2000 members on this forum if only 30% spend 1$ per month we would be at 600$ and i would release a new model import every week i dont want to say that everyone has to spend the money but i want to show that also small amounts like 1$ helps alot

To ask for donations is one thing. That I can understand. But you're releasing mods in return for donations. Trust me, Mastaklo, it's VERY illegal. You're putting models from other games into Xenoverse and making money off of it. That doesn't fall under fair use, that actually breaches it.
Modding games that don't normally allow it, is already a legal grey area. But you're financially gaining from modding and that's where it becomes illegal.
I don't hate you nor do I hate your work, but I really can't condone what you're doing with this.

see this is the reason developers might not want people making mods....and if more do this type of activity mods themselves might be illegal, and those who break games might be considered criminals. it starts small, but it gets very big after enough attention is brought to it.
