29? man it's a lot of time, i know that it's fair to thank you for your job, but for me the patreon thing is not that good, a lot of modders do the same job without asking for money or may be yes, but in donations totally optional, after they release their mods, how can pay you when we didn't test the "product"?, what is the difference of the dlc's and the mods if in both of them we're paying? but is only my opinion, don't take it like a bad thing.

changed the patreon milestones no longer seperated mods in tiers you now can vote for the next mod to be released until 05-29-15 its much more reasonable now at least. $160 was unrealistic you are clearly a good Modder but xenoverse is a simple game its not complex like TES V FALLOUT 3 ETC to get people to donate it has to be reasonable and not feel hopeless no way was i going to donate when it takes $300 to get a decent mod every week knowing that reaching such a goal would take months or simply will not happen at all therefore i would be wasting money so no one would donate and no progress would be made. i am considering giving $5 but i don't know how fast it will rise ie if it doesn't go up fast i am simply wasting money. the issue must be from people misunderstanding patreon. i think the rewards need to be abit better though |

its much more reasonable now at least. $160 was unrealistic you are clearly a good Modder but xenoverse is a simple game its not complex like TES V FALLOUT 3 ETC to get people to donate it has to be reasonable and not feel hopeless no way was i going to donate when it takes $300 to get a decent mod every week knowing that reaching such a goal would take months or simply will not happen at all therefore i would be wasting money so no one would donate and no progress would be made. i am considering giving $5 but i don't know how fast it will rise ie if it doesn't go up fast i am simply wasting money. the issue must be from people misunderstanding patreon. i think the rewards need to be abit better though cant think of other rewards any suggestions? the issue i see is for example if i pay $40 i get mods three weeks before official release but if i buy that and your releasing mods every two weeks i would essential be getting a mod every day example it has been two weeks you release the mod which i should have had a week ago and then i have to wait another two weeks but i should be getting it a week before hand you understand? its essentially impossible to fulfil. its very inconsistent as i would be getting ripped off. the only thing i can think off as its your patreon is making the rewards better for the lower stages as it would motivate more people to buy them and something incredible for high stages. if someone shares your mod then i am certain you could kick them off (if someone abuses the system) but i don't think anyone here is like that. i really want to donate $5 -$10 but the rewards are not so good considering we have to wait a month. your going to have to think it thorough you can increase your maximum pay to like $200 per month if you do it right the thing is to give your buyers something amazing which makes them pay for the lower tier rewards but leaving the non buyers waiting. the more good the lower tier the more buyers you will get but you have to really plan it though and consider how old your audience is and the money they have and balance the rewards to that level of greatness whereas leaving the higher pay amazing and unique in rewards. its about helping those who have donated more with something special while leaving the non donators waiting. don't leave yourself in a pickle  like the whole three weeks before hand thing. |
