Are you trying to put it in the game as is? Its a fbx file. Has to be emd. Theres a simple way of converting it, but it won't look right if you don't have the emm, emb, and emb.dyt files. If you have those, then I assume you're using libxenoverse, then go to the libxenoverse folder, bin, then towards the bottom you'll see a bat called fbxemd. Drag that file onto there and you have your emd. If its a different name just rename it. Then just drop it in with the emb, emm, and emb.dyt if you have them in data2,data, chara, huf, then pack data 2. It will replace hairstyle 17.
Again, you need to emb, emm, and emb.dyt for it to work.
Hope I helped.

Thanks for your answer !! Although I convert in emd, the hairstyle in the game does not appear, or is too big. I use 3ds max unregistered, and there is not the "scale factor" maybe it depends on that? there is someone who could convert this hairstyle the right size please?
(sorry for the incorrect english)

(sorry for the incorrect english) Oh is that it? I'm actually having that exact same problem with 3ds. When I made my SS3 hairstyle it was originalytoo big. I suggest using blender for hairstyles. Its much simpler. What you do is, on the export screen, next to scale, theres a icon, make sure its whiteish-gray instead of blackish-gray. Also be sure to change it to Y-forward and Z-up or it'll be upside down. That should do it. Also, on 3ds, the scale factor is whats causing it to be giant. I actually made a post here with that problem. I'm better with blender than I am with 3ds. 3ds seems to do that and I have no idea how to change it. Just use blender for hairstyles since they don't really have to move or anything. Edit: Forgot to ask, are you using the HUF_000.esk as a skeleton? You need a skeleton or it'll look weird. It took me a few tries to get the positioning right.

What can you do to get this hairstyle??? (I used only the file hair "HUF_012 Hair.emd" by changing only the tail and the bangs..I'm very inexpert!!) I do not know what to do!!! I ask so much if you can put here, the file with the hairstyle in the correct version?? It would be a great favor!

I have a question, if you used the file HUF_12_HAIR and edited that style you HAVE to put that hairstyle the folder. Like for example, when I made my SS3 transformation I used hairstyle 7, since I edited that one, renaming it to replace any other file won't work. Also, when I tried to load the fbx in blender it wouldn't load. I just loaded the fbx in 3ds... I can't make heads or tails of it. So all you removed was the bangs and tail? I might be able to do it for you. I'll try and post some pics.

I cut some parts of the hair because I wanted something like: but better than that I did not succeeded !! Hmm.. if I need to splice different hairpieces together, that might take some time. I'm not super good at making custom hairs. I tried to make a custom fusion jacket... it failed. I have it done with the tail and bangs off. That looks fine. Just tested. If you want I can send that to you. I'd have to watch the whole tutorial, and I honestly don't have time. Dinner is gonna be ready soon. If I can figure out the scale factor in 3ds you'll be the first to know. I wanted to add a tail to gogeta pants.... it gets giant sized same as you. Thats done and working. I'll send you the files I used. If you want. If I splice hairs together, its a a lot of work. Its a similar method to what I used to make my SS3 hair. Its doable. But I'm not real good at making custom models. Especially when I need to do texturing in photoshop. I'll try and find a solution to the scale factor. I looked all night last night and found nothing. But I'll do it. 3ds is a pain for some reason. Don't see why the scale can't be as simple as in blender. If I can find a solution to scale factor I'll post on here. I really need it too as I said.

Thanks for this work!! the model is fine !! bangs and tail added, and would be perfect!!! For the rest, you are very very kind !! And don't worry, you're definitely more skilled and expert than me !! XD I found the solution the giant sizing. After exporting it from 3ds load it into blender, use the scale tool to size it down. The scale tool has a few options so watch if a video if you don't know. After scaling it to the skeleton, then export it, remember to make sure the button beside scale is white-ish gray and not black-ish gray and that you choose Y-Forward and Z-Up. It might take a while to export, mine was 44MB. After you use fbxemd the emd if much smaller. Then just put it in the game as normal. I have a ways to go sadly. But it should be easier for you since its just a hair. It worked for my gogeta pants. Unfortunately the brown tail didn't keep. So idk if colors will transfer over. Might just be user error. It may take a few tries.

Thank you!! But I believe that it is not capable, if I do not follow a precise guide (I'm not even able to rotate the camera in blender !!) I'll put little to make mistakes... it takes an illustrated guide in blender...with a only wrong option, the game does not recognize ...(are days that I'm going crazy, with files, programs, errors, and many many attempts!! x__x)

I'll put little to make mistakes... it takes an illustrated guide in blender...with a only wrong option, the game does not recognize ...(are days that I'm going crazy, with files, programs, errors, and many many attempts!! x__x) What doesn't make any sense, it that the guide I watched for the tail animation showed the save settings... when he loading the game it was fine... so we must be missing something in 3ds... Also... I don't understand why you wouldn't be able to rescale it. Its worth at least a test... moving the camera is one thing... If theres multiple models then you'd either have to combine them by pressing a and select all or by just selecting all then scaling. It'd be better to just combine them(which I assume has already been done) If you don't combine them you end up with two files anyway. But just scaling... I don't see why that'd be a problem. I'll start experimenting in 3ds after I test this. Edit: Hmm... now that I'm testing it it seems to be acting very weird. Maybe you're right. Back to the drawing board! I wish this wasn't such a pain in the butt. Edit 2: Hmm... what makes no sense is that having the scale factor on inches and at 1.0 shouldn't make any changes at all... I have no idea why it is. 1.0 keeps it exactly the same size. Must be something wrong with the export.
