I want to remove some character voices, and I read in Xan's mod thread how to edit voice files:
"To swap a character voice, you will need to browse in your unpacked data.cpk folder :
data -> sound -> VOX -> Battle -> Chara
From there you will have tons of files with .acb and .awb . These files are the voice during battles. For exemple :
If I want to swap Omega Shenron's voice to tien's :
Copy and rename the files "BIRD_BTL_SD1_VOX.acb" and "BIRD_BTL_SD1_VOX.awb"
to
"BIRD_BTL_TSH_VOX.acb" and "BIRD_BTL_TSH_VOX.awb"
Then copy your files in your data2root"
However, there are two problems. First, this tutorial is outdated since there is no longer a data2root folder (thanks to the Libxenoverse tools). Secondly, the files I want to edit are located in data.cpk, and I don't have a way to repack it (additionally, I've heard that attempting to repack data.cpk is a bad idea anyway). Any suggestions?

Of course there still is a data2root folder.it's just called data2 now in order for the tools to work.nothing changed,it still works the same way.

Thanks for the answer, but you didn't need to be such an ass about it.

Your response came off as condescending, as if you were implying that I'm an idiot for not knowing that data2 and data2root were the same thing.
