Huh, that's weird. You probably forgot to delete the default model when exporting... I suggest you first test your modded hair, and once you confirm it's working, ONLY THEN follow the tutorial. Nah, I tried it multiple times, then tried it on SSJ3 Gotenks & it worked for him. It just wouldn't work for my White Heart, weird. Try replacing the whole HUF folder and just add the hair you are working on in, if it works, then some other files you have previously updated are the source of your problems...same happened to me, so just replace whole huf with original one, and then add the final products you added before

Did you try to keep all the default files EXCEPT the .emd? Just to be sure add them as if you were modding them to the data2.cpk. To the rest of the people having problems. If your problem's like hair out of position or bald you probably fucked up at importing/exporting. Refer to the tutorials in the tutorials section. Lawlaw has another one in his mod post too. MIND THAT 3DSMAX 2015 does not work well with dbxenoverse import/export as it's missing the scale options (or at least they don't show properly for me) Use 2010/2012

Hi thanks for the tutorial, I have a question won't it work if you swapped the material name in the .emm file ? for example: Modded one <EMMMaterial name="hair" shader_name="TOON_UNIF_STAIN1_DFD"> default one <EMMMaterial name="HAIR_top" shader_name="TOON_UNIF_STAIN1_DFDAth"> and the Modded one becomes like this <EMMMaterial name="HAIR_top" shader_name="TOON_UNIF_STAIN1_DFD"> Tried that, didn't work, sorry. Aww that would've been so much easier :s

I used 3dsmax 2015 original and have not needed to buy it, just download the student or academic version is free. But versions for students the lowest version is the 2012. All the that perform mods of texture changes, using 3dmax 2010 , Yesterday I uninstall the 2015 because I have many problems as it says wolfhyrr. If anyone can tell me if the 2012 version works well, to tell me, otherwise I will try to get the 2010.

I hope this will help.

So I find it appalling edit styles, have to be adjusting hand sizes and skeleton is hard to match. But what I finish saying, I happier, now I just have to download the 3ds max 2012 and test if everything works: D
