Thing is that in Battle of Gods, Videl was only just pregnant with Pan and in DBSuper these events are taking place 5 years earlier. Maybe it'll be Bulma this time around since Bra was always supposed to be older than Pan but they just forgot about that in the movie. In the movie Bulma wasn't pregnant with Bra and Videl already had few weeks of pregnancy can happen the same in DBS |

I don't see the point changing the way how Goku gains SSJGod but we don't know, maybe we will see a different way to gain that transformation In Fukkatsu no F didn't show how vegeta gains the SSJGod, so we can see a way that vegeta use to transform in SSJGod (and later, Gohan and the kids transforming too) |

Videl cannot be pregnant with Pan yet. they already married if we follow the timeline of the movie beerus shouldn't be awake now I see all the DBZ movie as a filler because they never are correct within the DBZ (and now DBS) series timeline Pan was only 4 years old in the Epilogue, set 10 years after the Buu Saga. Not only is it stated in the anime but in the manga too. Of course, they can just retcon that since keeping a consistent timeline was never a thing Dragon Ball did anyway. |

Umm... Marin petrosk you are wrong about the movies. Every movie except Bog and Rof is non canon. So they don' count. I think toriyama sensei is trying to correct the mistakes made in the movies and erase bog. Not sure about Rof though. Maybe we can see ssg goku and ssg vegeta fight with beers together?! That would be awesome. Oh and the part about toriyama is my opinion. But movies... True...(waaaah!! Gogeta's my fav char!! Alongside bardock!! And Broly's my fav villain!)  |

I not wrong when I say all movies don't follow serie timeline. Why I said that? because Toriyama-sensei always did it with all movies (DragonBall and DragonBall Z) For me both Battle of Gods and Fukkatsu no F (and the Ova Return of Goku and his friends) are a introdution of a new chapter to the world of Dragon Ball and I said the Ova because if Videl aren't pregnant of Pan when Beerus arrive to Earth, maybe the fifth Saiyan-jin will be Tables, Vegeta's brother (this last line is a theory mine) |

I can't confirm this because I forgot to ask for a source, but what I got from a friend of mine that's following this much more closely than I am (I'm just watching the episodes, they're digging into all the stuff) is that BoG is more like the abridged version of what the first story arc of DBS is going to be. In other words, it's a super condensed version of what we're going to be seeing in DBS.
So as a result they're going to be changing a lot of stuff around in order to make things longer, and also editing some details in order for things to make sense in a longer story format, which is probably the reason behind the dissonance between the timing of both plots. In other words, although the events that take place in BoG are canon, the way that they take place is not. Dragon Ball Super's take on events will be the "canon" one, while BoG is more like the "quick version," if that makes sense.

And Mr.Petrosk, I am not saying you are wrong about the timeline stuff, just thought you think that movies are canon. Toriyama-sensei did not do any movies. Only Rof and Bog. Not even DB movies. And I said that Birdyama-master learnt he made MILLIONS of mistakes in the 2 movies so he might be correcting things in Super. Oh and Dpad, canon means the works of a particular author or artist that are recognized as genuine. So the WAY is canon, but wrong. Well the half meaning of canon. Phew! I am tired.  |
