A very basic guide on mod installation, as I had a lot of people request it on Youtube and a few other forums.

As a total beginner to modding I had problems following this I am sorry to say.
You assume too much knowledge, like knowing what xenoverse library is right off the bat.

But then isn't that your own fault for not doing any sort of research before delving into modding? I feel that's your fault, not Melpontro's. I mean, LibXenoverse is something that you generally need to do 'any' sort of modding in Xenoverse, it's quite literally the main tool/toolset.
So yeah, it's your fault.

lmgtfy.com/?q=xenoverse+libraryREADME.md. LibXenoverse. Dragon Ball Xenoverse Modding Tools and Library. <-- The 9th result. No idea what emdfbx.exe was. Googled it, sent me to the Steam discussion that I saw a few days ago. Answered all my questions.

What makes rper's post worse, is the fact that the tools are linked in the description of the video.
And rigging tutorials won't really be made because rigging isn't specific to Xenoverse, you have to learn how to use a 3D modelling program, like Blender, or 3DS Max.

It is enough, honestly if people can't do at least a 'little' research and looking before looking at a modding tutorial, maybe they shouldn't be modding in the first place, they clearly haven't got the patience for it.

Thank you for the guide! I've managed to install a roster character edit, but I'm having trouble getting a custom CaC hair/outfit mod to work. What's the correct directory for CaC stuff?
I've tried subfolders and just tossing the files in there; neither works, so I'm sure I don't have the right place. Most tutorials I find seem to be about modding roster characters.
edit: Actually I've figured it out, I'm not sure what I was doing wrong last night. Don't try to mod at 3 AM, I guess.
