Many skills heavily require the other .embs. For example the part of final flash which i made blue in bbff v1 was actually data000 in fnf_bas. The bas and trc are actually as important as ptcl

this tutorial isnt complete. sorry eacab. This tutorial cannot be completed in that sense, 'cause everything's not generic here like the the chara .embs with same kind of stripped textures. He has done a gr8 job of starting such a tutorial. Common sense is required here. Blindly following the steps cannot be a solution.

ok define not even close what exactly do you think people wouldn't understand most dont know how to edit the colors. especially when dealing with alpha layers it seems that with attacks all you have to do is recolor it. the .emb's seem to act similar to the .dyt.embs on characters. the alpha layers dont seem to have much to do with it at all. other than that are you seriously trying to tell me people dont know how to recolor in photoshop.

The alpha channels are actually important. The invisible parts retain the original part of the skill. And colouring white parts of the texture is important because they too tend to retain original colour. That's how i totally change skills(e.g-Dragon fist explosion)
