Lets do a contest to see who makes the best mod of the month
we could do a top 10 of the month or the best mod of the month or best three mods of the month
there will be no rewards other than the satisfaction. the users will have a poll that they could vote on every month .
Does that sound good?
having more competitiveness can increase the quality of mods and attract more people to modding

having more competitiveness can increase the quality of mods and attract more people to modding Ehhhhhhh. Seems a lot more like a set of broken feelings and dashed dreams waiting to happen. Modding isn't and never should be competitive, in my opinion. People aren't in this to win anything, they're here to make cool stuff and share it with cool people. If we want to put effort into something that results in more people modding, and more creative mods, I'd say a better thing to do would be to make more detailed, follow-able, and specific tutorials, work on creating more powerful and complex modding tools (LibXenoverse needs new coders, for instance), as well as attempt community / group projects, and do experiments into seeing what can work and what can't. I know for instance that the realm of skill re-texturing is still rather unexplored, and we have yet to create / edit animations on a very large scale. I think that those sorts of things would result in better mods and more modders, as opposed to a contest. If anything, this could discourage people from modding. If we're going to be a community, we should interact as a community, not as a staging ground for some sort of contest. If you really want to spotlight mods, I'd just say do a rotating monthly feature selected at random; any sort of distinction of quality is just going to end up as a popularity contest, and that makes things go south very quickly in many communities. Not to mention that it also could result in the mod-stealing issue getting even worse.

Only elite modders will hv a place here. thats the point their elite modders because they make the best mods on the forum thus they get on the top mods of the month people just need to learn more and try harder to become those elite modders.

Not everyone r xperienced like some of the modders here and hv previously worked on ssbb or skyrim or went thru a 3d diploma course. Yes thre are people like Xan who was totally inexperienced but devoted time to become a gr8 modder. Devoting tym is difficult for some and mi8 be impossible also(For example: i can only sit for 1hr in front of the pc, 'cause i've studies. ). Do u get me?

SUPER SAIYAN!! hmmm perhaps when kthxbai releases his .bcs editing tutorial it will shed some light on editing the .bsa and .bac, also i too have the problem with emmxml dario probably didnt have skills in mind when he made libxenoverse so he probably didn't add a fuction for skill .emms
