The Mad Titan I was already looking anyways. Eventually someone else would have shared this knowledge.  I just started looking at the costume_top_item.idb to see if I could figure this out, but if it works the same way this will expedite it. xD

In the entire thread, I think this is by far the best reply. Well said Nameless. I can see why some would choose not to share this, really. Someone's going to make a set of gear that has +5000000000 all stats and destroy the online. But, let's be honest. Those would be the same people that would use Cheat Engine and get banned anyways. Knowledge will always be used for good and evil reasons. But, on the good side, what if someone took Broly's gear, and gave it +5% Ki and removed the +5% stamina? I think that would be a good reason. Really there wouldn't be a need for modders if the devs would take their heads out of their asses and stop reproducing 10 different fucking sets with the same god damn stats. As someone who's first character was a Saiyan male it annoys the hell out of me that there all no basic attack sets with fucking Ki as a stat, aside from Devilman's but that doesn't even have gloves. For that reason, there is still some good that can be done with this knowledge. Amen man. Amen. What we NEED to do is find good uses for whatever knowledge we get. The knowledge is already here. Might as well put it to good use and show others how can things be fixed for everyone to enjoy instead of concentrating on the bad side always. Cheaters will always exist. There's no real solution to that, but if we all just drop back and give up working to get good things, then those cheaters would have won not just a few matches on a game, but much more. Keep this tutorial as it is .. even add the correct values to increase the stats, if this really becomes a cheat and it gets streamed on youtube .. steam will patch it, although i doubt that it will work in online, it will probably instant crash when the Z-soul is activated.
Same thing happened in Naruto ultimate ninja storm 3/revolution when i tried modding the attack values for the moves and the game instant crash when i attacked in online, although it worked perfectly in single player

I have access to two copies of DBXV since my brother also has the game so I can mod some stats and go into a private 1v1 against the other unmodded game and see if it makes any changes online I will do a compassion of damage and health bars etc before and after modding then post my findings. That would be a good thing to do, especially since there can be an existing, hidden cap we aren't aware of. |
