Ok anyone who wants to help can.. decided to just go with DBO, using AKCore, my friend is one of the creators of AKCore btw, Kalisto. He is going to create a toolset to make working on it as easy as possible. He said the world builder still needs to be fixed so it compiles correctly, but for now he is going to do a temporary fix to get us going. Most of the game is still in Korean and the translations to english are kinda not good, but he says the Taiwan files have better english translations, so he will be swapping them out. IF anyone is interested in helping pm me.

That is why I decided to try and get their permission, its worth a shot if anything, and if nothing else DBO is an option, if anyone would like to try that instead my friend is more comfortable with it.

Expand the world a bit to allow more areas(I could help with this part) I actually did state what part I would play in this plan in my first post, I am a level designer. I am a 3D model artist, I do landscapes and buildings. Also doesn't hurt to try to get their permission regardless of whether another company has tried it already. Why so defensive all of a sudden? I mean if you don't like the idea no one is twisting your arm to do it. If I do get the permission though what then? Its obvious the game is good as it is, but could be so much better. There are a ton of changes I would like to see made that I am laying out in the letter to Bandai/Namco that they might say ok just for the sake of them not having to hire someone else to do it. This is just part of it: * Quests or Requirements to earn Transformations rather than skill drops. - Saiyans/Half-Breeds earn the SSJ transforms through fighting with an anger meter. - Nameks must fuse with other nameks - Humans have Heart multipliers that is activated during battle. - Bio-Androids can drain bio-mass from other lifeforms, but must absorb 2 Humanoid android's to attain Semi-Perfect and Perfect forms. - All races can acquire Kaioken/Unlock Potential skills by visiting King Kai or Guru respectively - All Races can become Majin except Kaioshin - Kaioshin must fuse with other Kaioshin This is a small list, but would require alot of work, like designing King Kai's planet, and Namek. Player Fusion needs a programmer, I am laying it out to them to see potential to sponser not only us working on it, but maybe creating as you state it a new game. I understand your concerns about licensing but no point in posting such nonsense about them not even considering it when it never hurts to try and going about it the legal way means no lawsuits can come our way. Btw the programmer that I know that seems interested wants to know if you guys would rather work on DBO instead since that is the game you speak of when you say "one company already tried" he has a copy of the source. I just would rather try to get Bandai to let us use DBXV instead because I translated all of the language files to english and it was a real pain, half of the game is still in Korean.

Your right, earning actual money from the game directly to profit is illegal, but using Crypto Currency as the way to profit is still Legal. All Crypto Currency except Bitcoin is considered property. So technically if the Coin2 community is spending their coins in this game all were doing is collecting "property" in exchange of a digital one. Technically we can trade the coin2 for Bitcoins, then the bitcoins for actual money.. its just jumping through a legal loophole. I'll take full responsibility if we get caught, when and if Coin2 ever becomes something other than "property", most likely it wont. and it has never been illegal to sell property. This is in the XenoVerse EULA upon use of the software You may not do any of the following: *Copy the Game except a single backup copy; *Sell, rent, record, lease, license, distribute, or otherwise transfer or make the Game available to any other person, in whole or in part, or use the Game or any part thereof in any commercial context, including but not limited to use on a commercial website, or in a service bureau, "cyber café," computer gaming center, or any other commercial location in which multiple users who have not each separately purchased the Game may access the Game program. BNGA may offer a separate site license agreement to permit you to make the Game available for commercial use; see the contact information below; *Reverse engineer, derive source code, modify, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of the Game or any online portion thereof, in whole or in part; *Remove, disable or circumvent any proprietary notices or labels contained on or within the Game or any online portion thereof; or *Export or re-export the Game or any copy or adaptation in violation of any applicable U.S. export restrictions or other laws or regulations. This can be found here: www.bandainamcoent.com/DBX-EULA/So technically the LibXenoVerse tools are already infringing on the EULA, so any modding to the game has already tossed it out the window.

I have someone that might be able to if I can talk him into it, he seems a bit interested, but I think he has some issues concerning steam and creating a server. Also he says he might need a bit of help on the reverse engineering of the source.. the tunggle community did create a server using SmartSteamEmu but not exactly sure how and that might be a pain in the ass for people just wanting to connect and play.. would be alot easier to hardcode it somewhere in the source once we figure that out.

Looks like u just want to create a game publicly to profit off of a game that was already made just so you dont have to code in the elements that are already in the game. But this is a good idea nothing wrong with it really.. and in a way making it better and taking some profit would be good for everyone involved, why not give the fans of the franchise something they been wanting... do we even have a mmorpg based on dragonball yet in N. America?

Well I had this idea that XenoVerse has all the necessary things to make a good mmorpg. The fighting elements have been created already, just needs the help of some good people to band together and mod the hell out of it.
Some of the ssj skills could be improved to look more realistic on custom characters(ex. transforming from SSJ - SSJ3 in sequence rather than directly, in and out of battle. Would be cool to transform in the lobby, show off the transforms we aquire) Expand the world a bit to allow more areas(I could help with this part)
Add in a few more custom races [Bio-androids, androids(fully mechanical and humanoid), demons and kai's.]
Create more stories for the game that happened but were left out.
I can also provide a way to add real currency to the game to allow for special item purchases.
If anyone is interested in helping out with this let me know, would love to get a team together of experienced people to make XenoVerse a hell of alot better. Could even change the working title to the name of my old game Dragon Ball: The Forsaken Future.
